24 members attended, the weather was bright with sunny intervals, 15/16C

Hive 1 – Liz Hawes, Anne-C Ballard – WBC double brood, Queen seen, BIAS X 10, stores X 6, sufficient room.  Queen excluder & 1 super drawn added.  Temper 10!  Varroa<2

Hive 1A – David Parkinson – National 14 X 12, Queen not seen, 3 emerged queen cells, polished brood cells, sufficient room & stores, diminished bees, no brood. 1 super. poor temper 2.  no varroa.

Hive 2 – Rowan Roberts – National brood & half, Queen not seen, no queen cells, 7 brood BIAS, 1 drawn added to 1/2 brood to encourage queen, 3 stores, sufficient room & stores.  1 super.  Temper 7.

Hive3 – Peter Reader – National double brood, Queen seen, no Queen Cells, B1 6 BIAS, 5 stores; B2 8 BIAS, 2 stores, sufficient room & stores. some drones seen. 1 near-empty super. Temper 8.

Hive 4 – Brian Herbert – National brood, Queen seen (R), skinny,  no Queen cells, 6 BIAS, some drone in worker brood. sufficient space & stores.  4 supers. Practiced queen marking on drones.  Temper 7, deteriorated with pressure change. <1 varroa.

Hive 5 – Richard Williams – National brood, virgin queen seen, no queen cells, 2 frames brood, sufficient stores. 2 supers, 3/4 & 1/4 full. Temper 9. Varroa >15/day but no treatment because of virgin queen. 1 wax moth larvae killed.

Hive 5A – Richard Williams – National nuc, Queen seen & marked Red, no Queen cells, 1 BIAS, new eggs, 2 stores, added 1 more. Temper 9.
